I though i would make a poll because some members are on skype/vent i think this is why we are loosing battles. So we can see what members want to use..

loads of people have looked so we need you to vote. a couple of things to think about: 1. skype can only cope with 10 people at a time 2. are you willing to pay for ts3 3. i dont know if vent is free

i'll use any, currently I use skype, because its clear, free, easy to set up and use.
I have hosted TS servers in the past

now we have voted for a system, we need to develop and most importantly practice good comm discipline. Any ex eve players out there will know exactly what i mean, eg :- no idle chatter, commander having priority and allowing scouts to relay good intel.

yes we need to sort the comm discipline out, i.e when knocked out you can be still usefull to the team..

been using ventillo today and it does seem to more effort than skype to get it all running.
So far i found it to be very quiet. strength seems to be i could run both skype and bents together and use both.
So it may be possible to run command and squad comms together.

IF your vent seems quiet, its probably down to the settings. If your new to vent, you can adjust the sound settings for each individual user to your own preference, so it may be the default setting is to low for you. Perhaps we need a "how to" thread for ppl new to vent.
