hard to say tbh. try concentrating on one tree. see which tank you really want ( was the tiger II for me ) and grind that tree until you reach it. i would also suggest getting your daily doubles every day on all your tanks as 5% of all xp gained goes to your 'free xp' but i only use this free xp to research mods on my newly aquired tanks.

for me, maximising that daily double xp is the way, its very generalist, but if your paying for your account, i feel your not getting value for money if your not getting your double. However, if you have quite a few tanks, it can be very frustrating trying to get a win on all of them, especially when you have a day of " special needs" teams  |

my only gerneral tips would be never have an empty garage. play all your tanks each day for the double, and jump out of a game if you are killed and restart with a new tank straight away. this will help with the cash flow and free xp. try not to use free xp to get the next tank use it to upgrade new tanks as you get them.
